I'm happy to be in a profession that can help improve the self-esteem and confidence of the people in my community. My profession allows me to get to know many wonderful people who are truly appreciative of the skills I have developed over the past 40 years of dentistry and 30 years in Orthodontics. It is my goal, and the goal of our staff, to make each patient's experience in our office memorable.

I consider myself to be a lifelong learner. Prior to going to dental school, I proudly served my country. I started in the US Army Reserves at 17, and rose from the rank of private to officer over ten years. I attended Georgia Tech for my undergraduate degree, and The Medical College of Georgia for both Dental School and Periodontics. I continued on to the University of Kentucky for my Orthodontic Residency and I earned my Master's of Dental Science degree in 1983. Find out more about me on my Google+ page.

I am passionate about continuing education. In addition to attending the American Association of Orthodontists' (AAO) annual conference to stay current on the latest techniques, I have also completed courses on cutting-edge technology all around the world.

I have lived in Gwinnett County for over 30 years. My wife, Pat, and I have two grown daughters and two granddaughters who are the light of our lives. When I'm not spending time watching them grow up, I enjoy traveling with my wife and reading a good book. I also used to be an avid bicyclist and have even biked over the Rocky Mountains twice!
